A Welcome Message fromÂ
Rev. Fr. Philip John -Parish Priest
Welcome to the official website of
Our Lady of Walsingham Syro-Malabar Mission, Cambridge.Â
A flourishing part of the Syro-Malabar Eparchy of Great Britain, our mission serves as a spiritual home for over 150 Syro-Malabar families in and around Cambridge.
Since the first migration of families in 2002, our community has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant and faith-filled parish, deeply rooted in the rich traditions of the Syro-Malabar Church. From the early celebrations of the Holy Qurbana in 2004 to our formal recognition as a mission in 2018, our journey has been shaped by strong spiritual leadership, unity, and devotion.
Today, our mission is more than a place of worship — it is a living community of faith, culture, and service. With regular Holy Qurbana in Malayalam and English, structured catechism programmes, active youth participation, family prayer units, and spiritual retreats, we continue to nurture faith across all generations.
Guided by our sacred traditions while embracing the needs of the present, we offer a welcoming space for prayer, spiritual growth, and fellowship in the heart of Cambridge — a city known for its rich heritage and global community.
We warmly invite you to join us in prayer and community life. May your experience with us be spiritually enriching, peaceful, and filled with grace.
